The role of space in the transition to the electric vehicle: a coevolutionary interpretation

The thesis conceptualizes transitions as a three step process in which new technological routines emerge, are adopted into production and become embedded into socio-technical practices and institutions. By studying the case of the electric vehicle and related technology I aim to improve our understanding of how transitions organize and unfold in space.
